Full Time Morning Show Board Operator
and Production Assistant

KQRA is in search of our next full time person to operate our highly successful morning show Lex & Terry. Half of this qualified candidate’s position will be serving as a personality for KQRA promotions, live appearances and events as needed. Duties include: managing the Lex & Terry show with creative imaging ideas, contests and providing morning traffic & weather announcements daily while assisting our four-station group with morning traffic reports.

The other half of this candidate’s position will be as Midwest Family Radio’s Production Assistant. Duties include production time daily, meeting with salespersons and clients, writing and producing effective and relevant marketing campaigns to help our advertisers succeed.
Knowledge and experience in creative writing required. Production software knowledge and experience preferred but not required. We will train the right creative & qualified person. Midwest Family Radio uses ProTools, Adobe Audition & iMediatouch.

Position includes benefits and 401K.
This is a permanent full-time position; salary commensurate with experience.

Candidate should have some knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, digital editing software (Protools, Maestro & Mediatouch), and have the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects. Minimum of two years of experience as an On Air Personality is preferred.
